Yvonne Dolores Grove, 81, of Marseilles, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Friday, December 30 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Sherry Stevenson of Crossbridge Community Church of the Nazarene officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Yvonne was born September 12, 1935 in New Orleans, LA to Louis and Julia (Vignes) Giro. In 1955, she married Edward Grove of Lockport, who survives.

She was a member of Crossbridge Community Church of the Nazarene. She graduated from IVCC Nursing School and was a nurse at Ottawa General Hospital. She was a founding board member of the Marseilles Area Ambulance Service, served on the Marseilles Nursing Service Board, and had been a member of the Jaycees.

Yvonne is survived by her husband, Ed; two daughters, Victoria Betzold of Southlake, TX and Cherie (Gary) Dorton of Marseilles; six grandchildren, Nicole Rafferty, Amanda Whiteside, Donald Betzold, Debra Betzold, Jennifer Does, and Michael Dorton; and five great-grandchildren, Logan, Alexis, Olivia, Jax, and Addison.

She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.

Memorials may be given to the Marseilles Nursing Service or the LaSalle Veterans Home.
