William David "Willie" Trumbo, 56, of Fall River Township, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Aperion Care Marseilles.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles.

He was born on November 18, 1967, in Ottawa, to Jay S. and Joan (Stapleton) Trumbo. On April 13, 2012 he married Nicole Knox of Ottawa who survives.

He served in the Navy and was deployed in Hawaii during Operation Desert Shield. He enjoyed shooting guns, spending time with family, and four wheeling. He was an avid collector of car parts and vintage goods. He was full of laughter and could talk to anyone he came across and be friends in no time.

Willie is survived by his wife, Nicole; his children, Corrina, Jay (Izabella Odum), Allen, and Emma; a grandchild arriving shortly; his brother, Chad (Kay) Trumbo; lots of nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Justin David in infancy; his parents, Jay and Joan Trumbo; his grandparents, William and Oreda Johnson; his father-in-law, Bill Knox, and his best friends, Bob Wheeler and Todd Reppine.
