William Earl "Bigfoot" Koehler, 71, of Seneca, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at his home.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 1 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held at the Plattville Cemetery.

He was born June 14, 1950, in Streator, to Merle and Irene (Lauridsen) Koehler.  In 1969, he married Barbara Lynn Wildey of rural Plattville, who preceded him in death in 2017.

Bill was employed by Teamsters Local 722 and 179 as a truck driver.  He also worked as a mechanic and bartender.

He is survived by his children, William (Sonja) Koehler Jr. of Morris, Brett (Arlina) Koehler of Ottawa and Bobbi (Roby) Bettcher of MN; seven grandchildren, Breanna, Raven, Jasemin, Kyra, August, Brian and Ora; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Rhonda Koehler; and one brother, Mark Koehler.
