Wade E. Gingery, 61, of Ottawa, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. - 12 noon prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.

Wade was born on December 24, 1957 in Ottawa, to Harold and Margaret (Thomas) Gingery.

He had been employed by Smith and Douglas in Streator, Nelson Sanitation Service in Ottawa, and Fox River Resort in Norway.

Wade is survived by two daughters, Melissa (David) McAlister of Missouri and Renee (Aaron) White of Streator; four grandchildren, Devin, Jake, Izick, and Annagail; one great-grandson, Derek; his mother, Margaret Akins of Ottawa; one brother, Jerry (Leslie) Gingery of Dwight; many nieces and nephews, including Kim Thomas; and his special friend, Donnie Hill.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Gingery.
