Tyler "TC" Carson, 20, of Ottawa, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 5 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Megan Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery at a later date.

He was born on August 10, 2001, in Ottawa, to Keith and Debbie (Johnston) Carson.

Tyler was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School, where he played on the basketball and baseball teams. He also attended IVCC for two years. TC was employed by Farm & Fleet. His love of sports, friends, and family was seen through his outgoing personality, and he enjoyed his many friendships.

He is survived by his mother, Debbie of Ottawa; his father, Keith of Matteson, IL; his siblings, Kyle, Kiana, and DeJa Carson; his grandmothers, Alice Johnston and Shirley Tate-Patterson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Johnston and great-grandparents, LeRoy and Ruth Carson.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Carson, Jake Hanlon, Wyatt Hill, Kadon Harth, Noah Gould, TJ McDonald, Conor O'Fallon, and Hunter Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Stevenson, Tyler Swett, and Jake Mentgen.
