Timothy J. Worst, 42, born in Joliet, passed away at his home in Marseilles on January 19, 2022.

Tim was a fanatic sports buff, especially the Bears, Cubs and his favorite Blackhawks.  He loved music and was a talented piano player, self-taught at an early age. Tim enjoyed his work at Nucor in Marseilles, and formerly worked as an operator at Citgo in Romeoville. Tim spent a significant amount of his life fishing with his Papa, friends, and uncles, and golfing with his sister and friends.  He was a fan of reading, watching crime TV, and comedy shows. The love for his children was the only thing bigger than his smile and contagious laugh.

Survived by cherished children, Allison and Aiden; love of his life, Jenn Wheaton; bonus children, Matthew, Cody (Heather), and Anne Wheaton; his grandmother, Rosella Shiner; sisters Kimberly Linsey and Kaitlyn (Todd); special niece, Corinne, and a loved nephew.  Also surviving are his trusted aunts and uncles Larry (Karen), Leo (Teree) and Tom (Diane); dear cousins; bonus grandchildren, and so many friends who were his family also survive.

Preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Shiner, Grandfather, Leo "Bud" Shiner, Aunt Victoria Shiner.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 26 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. A prayer service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Clark of Marseilles Church of the Nazarene officiating.
