Thomas J. Jackson, 68, of Marseilles, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2025, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Pamela Haug officiating.

Thomas was born on August 13, 1957, in Ottawa, IL, to Jerry Sr. and Adela (English) Jackson. In 1993, he married Valerie Maier of Streator who survives.

He held many jobs including working in a brickyard, as an employee of PetSmart, and as a handyman. Thomas was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie; his children, Charles (Bridget) Jackson, Sarah Jackson, Jennifer (Chuck) Catleit, Vernon Ward, Tammy (Michael) Kuster, Jim (Tara) Demark, and Amy (Jeremy) Mounce; 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Vivian "Farmer" Engelman and Barbara (Wayne) Blaskiewicz; his brother, Joseph (Bonnie) Jackson; and nieces and nephews .

He was preceded in death by his parents and his five brothers, Charles, Carl, Tyler "Doc", Tim, and Jerry "Newt".
