Susan M. Mussatto, 70, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at her daughter's home.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday April 28, at United Methodist Church in Marseilles with Rev. Kihwan Choi officiating. A celebration of life will be held following the services at the church. Burial will be in Galloway Cemetery at a later date.

Susan was born April 22, 1947 in Ottawa, IL to Herbert and Rose (Scott) Close. In 1968, she married Edmund Mussatto of Marseilles who preceded her in death in 2013.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marseilles and also attended the Marseilles United Methodist Church, where she and Ed were married.

Susan is survived by two daughters, Kelly (Kelly Smith) Mussatto of Ottawa and Lee Ann (Josh) Biros; three grandchildren, Alexis Carr, Zoey Fleming, and Oliver Biros; one brother, Roger (Ruth) Close of Marseilles; one sister-in-law, Connie Close; a godchild, Dora Hawk; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ed, brother, Lester Close, and sister, Janice in infancy.

Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church or the First Baptist Church in Marseilles.
