Shirley loved her God and Savior, her family, (and cooking for them), her church and her job, her music, which was her joy in gladness, her solace in sorrow and the light and being of her life. JOY—Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last – may she be remembered for trying to live this motto. Let us always "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord and come before His presence with thanksgiving!"
