Sherry Lee Grieves, 65, of Seneca, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at her home.


A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Seals-Campbell Funeral Home.

She was born December 3, 1951, in Ottawa, to Kenneth and Eleanor (Sampson) Lewis. In 1969, she married Larry Greives of Deer Park who survives.

Sherry worked 20 years on paper routes delivering for The Sun Times, Chicago Times and Morris Herald. She loved to drive, playing Bingo, going to the casino boat, and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Melissa Lewis of Ottawa and Victoria Grieves of Sheridan; one son, Scott Grieves of Ottawa; five grandchildren, Adrian, Chloe, Christopher, and Robert Grieves and Shane Larson; two great-grandchildren, Alexa Grieves and Isabelle; one sister, Gayle (Rick) Holcomb of Marseilles; and one brother, Kenneth Lewis Jr. of Ottawa.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher and Justin Grieves; and two sisters, Victoria and Karen Lewis.
