Sherrie May "Granny" Dickson, 84, of Seneca, passed away on August 9, 2022 at her home.

Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday, August 14 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church with Rev. Nick Sandeno officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Arrangements are entrusted to Seals-Campbell Funeral Home.

She was born on April 27, 1938, in Marseilles, to Wilfred and Eva (Bottomley) Kline.

Sherrie was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca. She worked for many years at the C.A.S.P.E.R. program and was known as Granny by everyone.

She is survived by her son, LeRoy Benckendorf; Joshua Benckendorf, Brian, Brenton, Bradley; Aaron Benckendorf, Brandon; Sara Lee Benckendorf, Malachi, Tyler; Emalee (Nate), Marlee; her daughter, Linda Benckendorf Wood Roesler; Candie (Terry Minick) Ferrara, Shawna (Nick) Angelakos, Justin, Eleanor, Lettie; Dominic and Giovanni Ferrrara; Thomas "TC" Wood, Dade, Brendon; her daughter, Glenda (Tom) Edwards; Jon Adam (Amanda) Holman, Peyton, Clarke; Felecia Holman, Mason; Matilda "Seth" Edwards; her daughter, Eva Hall; Neil (Kelsie) Hall, Grady, Atley, Waveland, Maxwell; Ashley (Brian) Oest, Bryson, Romi; her son, Junior Benckendorf; Tausha Benckendorf, Tayauh May, Lucy Sky; Ty (Cierra) Benckendorf, Aurora Barbara; step-grandson, Jack Dickson; her brother, Fred Kline; and Dawn (John) Vaughn; Amy (Mark) Victor, Allie, Aaron; and Kevin Worley that she loved like children.

Sherrie was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; her siblings, Rosemary Bayer, Jerry, Harry, and Sandy Kline; and her sisters-in-law, Rita and Gail Kline; and her son-in-law Greg Hall.
