Sandra Jane Neimann, 74, of Seneca, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at her home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, September 3 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating.

She was born September 19, 1946, in Bloomington, IL, to Ward and Wilma (Rivers) Barron. On August 13, 2004, she married Harlan "Shorty" Neimann, who preceded her in death in 2018.

Sandy loved being a waitress and was employed by Seneca Family Restaurant and R Place in Morris. She spent her time as a "Yaggam" babysitting her grandchildren. She also loved going to the casino and playing Bingo. She was an avid Cubs fan. Sandy and Shorty enjoyed fishing during their trips to Bellevue, IA and gambling in Laughlin, NV.

She is survived by her two children, William (Jean) Stapleton of Seneca and Lisa (David) Voice of Ottawa; six grandchildren, Tiffany (Shaun) Hornbeck, Brittany and Amy Nichols, Lexi Stapleton, Tristen Reddick, and Taylor Stapleton; two great-grandchildren, Cadence and Graham Hornbeck; her siblings, Connie (Dave) Wultzen, Dixie Perona, Warren Adams, and Betty (Charles) Brunner; and her beloved cat, Synyster Gates.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Shorty; a son, Brad Stapleton; a daughter, Cindy Stapleton; and a sister, Ruth Milton.
