Ruby C. Magelli, 102, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Pleasant View Luther Home.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 31 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Kris Zierke officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

She was born April 22, 1919, in Campbellsville, KY, to William and Floye (Mann) Callahan. In 1943, she married Angelo Magelli of Marseilles, who preceded her in death in 1991.

Ruby was a member of the Marseilles First Church of God.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Thomas) Simpson of Amherst, MA.; two grandchildren, Duncan (Dr. Andrea Hebert) Simpson of Severna Park, MD and Meredith (Jamai Lowell) Simpson of Amherst, MA; and four great-grandchildren, Isla, Finlay, Ruby Rose, and Vivian.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo; and her two brothers, Raymond and Elmer Callahan.
