Ronnie A. Hicks, 62, of Marseilles, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at LaSalle County Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be private with Rev. Bill Clark of the Marseilles Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

He was born July 31, 1958, in Ottawa, to John M. and Hilda M. (Carlson) Hicks.

Ronnie was employed by Marseilles Marine and Fleeting. Later, he was employed by Walmart in Morris until his retirement in 2019. He enjoyed going to the boat and his red car. He loved his family, especially his mom, nieces, and nephews.

He is survived by his mother, Hilda; three brothers, Buddy, Jerry (Debbie) and Mike Hicks; a sister, Laurie (Pippy) Pittman; and his nieces and nephews, Chad, Jared, and Sarah Hicks, Chris (Amanda) Moore, Samantha (Matt) Wooton, Michelle (Zac) Stark, Tiffany (Zach) Horwitz, and Matthew (Christina) Pittman.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Hicks.
