Ronald L. Crabbe, 61, of Marseilles, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Crossbridge Community Church of the Nazarene in Ottawa. Memorial visitation will follow immediately until 3 p.m. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on July 19, 1957, in Peoria, to Kennard and Peggy Crabbe. On April 2, 1977, he married Roberta "Robbie" Angel of Newark, who survives.

Ron was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was a very hard worker and he worked in construction his whole life. Ron volunteered and was very active helping many people in Marseilles rebuild their homes after the flood in 2013. He loved fishing, nature, and spending time with his family.

Ron is survived by his wife, Roberta "Robbie"; his father, Kennard Crabbe of Nokomis, IL; his mother, Peggy Crabbe of Rockford, IL; four sons, Michael (Christina), Jeffrey (Holly), Daniel (Amanda), and Kenny (Danielle); 13 grandchildren; three brothers, Kerry, Greg, and Tim; and four sisters, Deb Sabonis, Laura Gibbs, Kathy Kandel, and Jenifer Warren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jammie Marie Crabbe and his grandson, Austin Michael Crabbe.
