Roger Andrew Allen, 69, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday March 7, 2018, at Aperion Care in Marseilles.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Ottawa with Rev. Tim Johnson officiating.  Visitation will be on Saturday one hour prior to services at the church.  Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles is handling the arrangements.

Roger was born February 18, 1949, in Kalamazoo, MI, to Paul S. and Mary U. (Maingot) Allen.

He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.  He was a faithful servant to his church and his Lord and Savior.  He brought light to a room and joy to people's hearts.  He served in the Army in Vietnam.

Roger is survived by a son, Brian Todd Allen of Bartlett, IL; a sister, Ursula P. Case of Port Charlotte, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Mark J. Allen and Peter J. Allen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bethel Lutheran Church.
