Rocio Darlene Arriaga, 58, of Marseilles, formerly of Chicago, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one-hour prior at the funeral home.

She was born on November 26, 1959, in Chicago, IL to Ralph and Josephine (Velazquez) Arriaga.

Rocio received a degree in graphic design from Robert Morris College and was employed by the Chicago Tribune for over thirty-years until her retirement. After her retirement she was employed by The Home Depot in Peru. She was a talented artist and had a great love for life and all that were in it. She enjoyed camping, dancing, and her fur babies.

She is survived by one daughter, Jessica D. Arriaga of Deerfield, IL; two sisters, Josephine Meredith of Reedsburg, WI and Gabriela Arriaga of Tucson, AZ; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ralph A. Arriaga.
