Obituary

Robert Joseph Lynn, 45, of Seneca, formerly of St. Louis MO, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Parkview Baptist Church in Marseilles. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. John Patterson officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Marseilles Honor Guard. Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles has been entrusted with arrangements.

He was born on September 10, 1979, in Tinley Park, IL to Susan J. (Chandler) and Ronald L. Lynn.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served from 1997 until 2001.

He is survived by his father, Ronald L. (Joanne) Lynn; his mother, Susan J. (Michael) Marchiando; his sisters, Marita Lynn, Katrina (Matt) Cribbett, and Samantha (Spencer) Fleming; his brothers, Eric (Carol) Lynn, David (Tracy) Lynn, and Daniel (Junella) Lynn; his step-sisters, Jennifer Marchiando, Michelle Fritz, Krista ( Jason) Baldwin, and Cindy (Richard) Gatz; his step-brothers, Andrew (Barbara) Feldman, Michael J. (Carol) Marchiando, Andrew C. Marchiando, Michael J. (Lynda) Malczewski, and Steven (Cindy) Malczewski; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Blanche and Marvin Chandler and Bernice and Chester Lynn.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or The Grand Appeal-Bristol Children's Hospital.
