Robert J. Hentges, 76, of Norway, passed away, October 27 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Robert was born July 31, 1944, in Aurora, to John and Margaret (Pagel) Hentges. In 1990, he married Carlene Matthews of Aurora who survives.

He was employed by Aurora Blacktop for 32 years, and was a member of Teamsters Union 673 until his retirement. He enjoyed his hot rods, beer and winters in Florida.

Bob is survived by his wife, Carlene; his children, Bobbie (Kent) Walley of WI, Tom (Carrie Rae) Smith of Sycamore, and Teresa (Tim) Owens of Marseilles; seven grandchildren, Jeremiah (Kristin), Jordan, and Caitlin Walley, Ashtin and Austin Smith, Logan (Brittany) Smith, and Brandon Calhoon; three great-grandchildren, Lena, Harlan and Kinsley; one sister, Laurel (Bob) Oleson; and one brother, Mike (Judy) Hentges.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, John.
