Robert "Tony" Carver, 72, of LaSalle, IL, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Goldwater Care Center in Spring Valley, IL.

Tony's final resting place will be at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery in Elwood, IL, with military rights. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements and cremation rites.

Tony was born on May 28, 1953, in Morris, IL, to Robert W. and Mozzell (Kittrell) Carver.

He attended Ottawa High School and served in the United States Army in 1970. Tony enjoyed working on cars, spending time with his two dogs, Chip and Sissy. He enjoyed watching television, with it turned up as loud as he could. His motto was, "Don't touch my remote".

He is survived by his Fiancé, Tammy Penick of Spring Valley; his two sisters, Kathy Newkirk-Cook of Marseilles, and Pearl Meyer-Rather of Ottawa; and his two brothers, Barry Carver of Ottawa, and Timothy Carver of Palmetto, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Pamela Cameron; two brothers, Jeffrey Carver and Bruce Scaman-Carver; and his dearly loved dogs, Chip and Sissy.
