Obituary

Paul F. Feldt, 78, of Seneca, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Edward Hines VA Hospital.

Military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 6 at Marseilles American Legion. A celebration of life will follow at the legion from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The family encourages guests to wear red, white, and/or blue to honor Paul's pride to have served his country. Burial will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Paul was born to Fred and Virginia (Arb) Feldt in Lincoln Park, MI on October 22, 1945. On July 7, 1973, he married Linda Jo Namchick of Streator who preceded him in death in 2012.

He served in the U.S. Airforce in the Vietnam War. He was a member and past Commander of the Marseilles American Legion Post #235. Having many jobs, Paul worked for Rosen's Inc, formerly Strong and Strong, as a fertilizer salesman, and as a security guard at Caterpillar in Joliet until his retirement. After his retirement, he enjoyed working at Ellis Ace Hardware in Seneca for many years. Paul was very gracious with his time, whether helping friends or traveling to spend time with family.

Paul is survived by his children, Tami Ordonez, Amanda Feldt, Andrew Feldt, and Daniel Feldt; eight grandchildren, Taryn (Charlie) Ortega, Justin (Callie Mathers) Ordonez, Tristan, Payton and Danika Lettsome, and Sullivan, Hayden and Isaac Feldt; two great-grandchildren, Greyson Ordonez and Maximus Ortega; Judy Carney, good friend and first wife; two sisters, Julie Figueroa of Baja California, Mexico and Verna Kassan of Lancaster, CA; two brothers, Rick Feldt of Mojave, CA and Sam Wilson Jr. of Lancaster CA; many nieces and nephews; and his little dog, Spunky.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Jo; his father, Fred; his mother, Virginia Wilson; and stepfather, Sam Wilson Sr.
