Parker Ray Brewster, 90, of Seneca, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at Regency Care in Morris.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 29 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Jason Sprinkel of the Seneca Assembly of God officiating.  Burial will be private in Mount Hope Cemetery in Seneca.

Ray was born July 17, 1930, in Monticello, KY, to Rev. Marsh and Virgie Jane (Martin) Brewster. In 1950, he married Allene Mae Roberts of Monticello, KY who survives.

Ray was a truck driver for 38 years until his retirement in 1985.  He was a member of the Seneca Assembly of God Church.  He was a Bears fan and a fan of John Wayne. He enjoyed spending time visiting with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Allene; his five children, Donna (Jerry) Cade of Seneca, Michael Brewster of Seneca, Barbara (Lee) Klaw of Marseilles, Carl Douglas Brewster of Seneca and Patricia (Al) Matas of Rockford; ten grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, William, Keith, his twin, Thomas, Wallace and Howard; one brother in infancy; and one great-grandson, Logan.
