Ola Mae Carter, 76, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Aperion Care in Marseilles.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

She was born January 16, 1944, in Coldiron, KY, to Charles Lee and Mary Ellen (Brock) Russell.

She is survived by her one son, Hershel D. Gillenwater Jr. of Parsons, TN; five grandchildren, Anthony Mason of Ottawa, Kayla Gillenwater, Ashley Ross, Robert Deck, and Hannah Deck; and one brother, Davis Kyle Russell.

Ola was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mitzi Mason; six siblings, Donald Dean Russell, Della Irene Russell-Brock, Clinton "Boo" Russell, Charles Ray Russell, Daisy Lyle Russell-Harris, and Earl Russell.
