Miriam F. Roe, 80, of Marseilles, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Amita Health Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Kwang Sung of Marseilles United Methodist Church and Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

She was born November 29, 1940, in Ottawa, to Samuel and Lucille (Stebbins) Sapp. On May 2, 1959, she married Henry "Hank" Roe of Marseilles who survives.

Miriam attended Marseilles High School and IVCC. She was a member of Marseilles United Methodist Church. She had been a real estate agent and worked for Century 21 and Joanne Gretencord. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Hank; one daughter, Darlene Roe-Poundstone of Marseilles; three grandchildren, Emily (Zachary) Kaufman, Matthew and Samuel Poundstone; and her cousin, Janet Frunzar of Glen Ellyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be directed to Marseilles United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Samuel and Matthew Poundstone, Frank McCallum, Zachary and Joseph Kaufman, and Donald Weber.
