Michael Gene Smith, Sr., 64, of Lostant, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at his home.

Services were private, a Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mike was born March 13, 1956, in Chicago, to Perry and Barba (Lashbrook) Smith.

He was employed as a mechanic until his retirement. He loved hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Mike is survived by his wife, Robin; by his two sons, Michael Gene Jr. (Tracy) Smith of Marseilles and Raymond (Ally) Smith of Streator; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Betty Jo Smith; and two brothers, Eddie and Bobby Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Perry Smith.
