Michael K. Kleckner, 72, of Seneca, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Streator.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Michael was born on January 10, 1949, in Sandwich, IL, to Julius and Clara "Bea" (Huey) Kleckner. On November 15, 1975, he married Janet Wheeler of Marseilles who survives.

He was employed by Caterpillar in Aurora and Alumax in Morris. He and his wife owned Rowlin In (formerly Bolattos's Bar and Bowling Alley) in Marseilles and were property managers with rental units in the area. Mike was a "jack of all trades" and could fix anything. He enjoyed collecting, was a Chicago White Sox fan, fishing, camping, and traveling with his wife.

Michael is survived by his wife, Janet; a granddaughter, Jamie (Dusty) Kaster of Bloomington; one great-granddaughter, Hadley Streich of Bloomington; step-mother, Joan Kleckner; his siblings, David, Ron (Becky), Jeff, Sandy (Larry), Julia, Dale, Art (Patty), Kathy (Gary), Jon (Jennifer); Vi (Jeff); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius Kleckner, and Clara "Bea" and Joe Moree; two brothers; his daughter, Dorrie Wright; and son-in-law, Jim Wright.
