Michael Paul Dial, 60, of Marseilles, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at his home.

A celebration of life will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at the Marseilles Lions Club. Cremation rites have been accorded. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles has been entrusted with arrangements.

He was born on February 5, 1964, in Fairbury, IL. On November 8, 2008, he married Tanya Morey of Marseilles who survives.

Mike served honorably in the United States Navy as an Engineman Petty Officer 2nd Class from 1984 to 1989. He was employed by DXP formerly Sabic in Marseilles. He was a member of Marseilles First Baptist Church and a member of Leoma Baptist Church in Tennessee. For twenty-nine years, he played softball in Plano at Richard Klatt Field and was one of the "boys of summer". He was an avid fan of the University of Michigan Wolverines.

He is survived by his wife, Tanya; four children, Tiffini Dial, Benjamin Dial, Dane Eich, and Tanlee Eich; one grandson, Miles; his parents, Alvin and Nancy Dial; his in-laws, Tim and Rita Morey; his siblings, Millie, Rick, Bobbie K., Julie, Sue, and Howie; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Danny.
