Mark A. Young, 67, of Sheridan, formerly of Marseilles, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mark was born January 16, 1953, in Jackson, MI, to Herbert and Phyllis (Perry) Young.

He was employed by Illinois Department of Transportation as an engineer until his retirement. He was very active in the Boy Scouts of America, and he had served as Scoutmaster for the Marseilles Troop for many decades. He also served as a Council Member for many years. Mark was a kind, loving man, who cherished his time helping youth.

Mark is survived by his sons, Mike Snow of Indianapolis, IN and Jon Young of Dixon, IL; two brothers, Matt (Rosie) and Mike Young, both of White Cloud, MI; a sister, Martha (Mike) Kerns of Greenville, MI; and his beloved dog, Scout.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Cora.
