Marie M. "Tootie" Rafferty, 85, of Ottawa, passed away Sunday November 12, 2017, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center with her family by her side.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday Nov. 16, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home with Rev. Jon Wenger of Heritage Christian Center. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.

She was born January 11, 1932, in Marseilles, to Fred and Della (LeRette) Raikes. In 1981, she married Arlo Rafferty of Marseilles, who preceded her in death in 1995.

Marie was a free spirited, Cubs loving, lottery playing, hat wearing, Elvis fan.

She is survived by three daughters, Tina Davis of Leland, Dawn Musich of Troy Grove, and Kim Karlsson of Jump River, WI; two sons, Kevin Comer of Dixon and Keith Comer of Ottawa; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Donna Wachowiak of LaSalle; one brother, Charles Raikes of Marseilles; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Kirk Comer; five brothers; and two sisters.
