Lorraine R. "Twin" Dekreon, 90, of Marseilles, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at Rivershores HealthCare and Rehabilitation Centre.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday, September 23 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She was born January 10, 1926 in Ottawa to Tony and Mayme (Johnson) Caputo. In 1946, she married Jake Dekreon of Ottawa who preceded her in death in 1994.
Twin was employed by LaSalle County and worked in the Probate Office until her retirement. She was a die-hard Cubs' fan.
Twin is survived by two daughters, Pamela Coates of Mascoutah, IL and Sandra Dekreon of Ottawa; three granddaughters, Stephanie, Margie, and Cathy; three great-grandchildren, Brynn, Beau, and Henry; and a sister-in-law, June Caputo of Marseilles.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three sisters, her twin sister, Laurel "Twin" Dekreon, and Darlene Cordial and Lois Pohar; and six brothers, Ed, Glenn, Art, Elmer, Jim, & Don Caputo.
Memorials may be given to alzheimer's association.
