Lindsay Renee Calvert, 38, of Chicago, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026.

Memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lindsay was born on May 20, 1988, in Joliet, to Carl and Christine (Morris) Calvert.

Lindsay lived a life with a sensitive heart and a gentle spirit. She possessed a rare ability to find beauty in the quietest corners of the world, leaving memories as vivid as the things she loved. Those who knew Lindsay best will always remember her love for life’s solitary, magnificent moments. She was an avid chaser of sunsets, finding peace, reflection, and wonder in the fading light of each day. Her soul was deeply connected to poetry, and she appreciated the power of words to heal, to comfort, and to capture the depths of the human experience that are often difficult to speak aloud.

Lindsay navigated life in her own way, leaving a distant mark on the family and friends who surrounded her. She is survived by her children, Ryder Baxter and Rylie Baxter; a grandson, Roman Lee Baxter; her parents, Carl and Christine Calvert; her siblings whom she shared an unbreakable link with, Zachary Calvert, Brittany Calvert, and Racheal McKinney; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy and Patricia Calvert; her uncle, Roger Calvert; a cousin, Samantha Parks; and her niece, Alexis Page, whom she was a loving and supportive aunt.
