Lawrence R. Pickera, 67, of Marseilles, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, August 12 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services with military honors will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John Patterson officiating.

Larry was born January 23, 1956, in Superior, WI, to Eugene Robert (Margaret Joan Foster) Pickera. On June 24, 2011, he was married to Lynn Brown of Ottawa who survives.

He served in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Lucky Trucking until his retirement in 2022. Larry enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, playing pool, music, dancing, joking around, and spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn; four children, Crystal (Carl Benson) Davis, Jeremy (Kristi Daniels) King, Kenzie Pickera, and Mike (Katie) Davis; fifteen grandchildren, Kalei, Kyler, Cody, Damien, Kaden, Chase, Brody, Cooper, Crue, Banks, Ben, Brooklyn, Haley, Alyssa, and Toni; three great-grandchildren, Kysen, Keianna, and Brynleigh; his mother, Margaret; and his siblings, James Hendrickson, Donald (Mary) Hendrickson, Lance Pickera, Judy Anderson, and Kathy (Gerd) Vinzenz.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Kenny and John Verley.
