Lawrence Thomas Hayn, 72, of Marseilles, passed away on Sunday December 15, 2019 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, December 21 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Deacon Ron Wackerlin of St. Joseph's Catholic Church officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles at a later date.

Larry was born August 27, 1947 in Kampsville, IL to Thomas and Rosie (Daniels) Hayn.  In 1977, he married Barbara Malaise of Ottawa, who survives.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  He served in the Army in Vietnam.  He was employed by GE Plastics until his retirement.  He enjoyed his family, fishing, and traveling, especially to Disney World.

Larry is survived by his wife, Barb; two daughters, Lesley (Shawn) McGuan of Morris and Denise (Travis) Schmidt of Marseilles; three grandchildren, Kendall, Parker, and Nathan; two sisters, Juanita (Bill) Markut and Mae Mussatto, both of Marseilles; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Paula; and two brothers-in-law, John Mussatto and Wayne Malaise.

Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
