LaDora DeLancy, 87, of Schaumburg, IL, formerly of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at her home in Schaumburg.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, January 2 followed by funeral services at noon at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.

She was born October 22, 1933, in Marseilles, to Homer and Mae (Monroe) Suddarth. On April 20, 1957, she married James DeLancy of Marseilles, who preceded her in death on August 10, 2020.

LaDora owned and operated LaDora's Gift Shop for many years and was well known in the community. However, her true impact on family and friends extended beyond her business. LaDora was the heart and soul of the family when it came time to get together, organizing many family reunions and gatherings with friends.

LaDora is survived by her children, Beth Price-Sinclair of Sarasota, FL, Brad (Tracy) DeLancy of Flower Mound, TX, and Becky DeLancy of Schaumburg; four grandchildren, Mike, Tonya, Jessica, and Mitch; five great-grandchildren, Christian, Cameryn, Paxton and twins, Cody and Aiden; and one great great-grandchild, Malia.

LaDora was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Bernice Suddarth, Betty Killelea, Mary Padilla, and Louise Schroeder; and her brother, Wayne Suddarth.
