Kenneth E. "Rusty" Perkins, 76, of Marseilles, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at OSF. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Funeral services were private. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles was entrusted with arrangements and cremation rites.

Rusty was born on February 7, 1950, in Ottawa, to Edard and Lila (Lotter) Perkins. On July 26, 1991, he married Sherry Bourgo of Marseilles who survives.

He owned and operated Perkins Heating and Cooling until his retirement. He enjoyed NASCAR and music.

Rusty is survived by his wife, Sherry; his brother, Roger Perkins; his brother-in-law, Dennis (Sue) Bourgo; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Michael Perkins; and his stepmom, Naomi Perkins.
