Keith Arnold Fleming, 84, of Springfield, formerly of Marseilles, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at his home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday February 1, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles with military honors.
Keith was born May 7, 1933 in Marseilles, to Charles Sherman and Clara (Brown) Fleming. In 1954, he married Sharon Moats of Marseilles, who preceded him in death in 2013.
He served in the Army during the Korean War as an assistant to the Chaplin. He was employed by Libbey-Owens-Ford until his retirement. In his retirement he operated a landscaping service.
Keith is survived by two daughters, Tammy Decker-Taylor of Dardenne Prairie, MO and Kimberly Fleming of Springfield; one son, Jeffery Fleming of Springfield; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Nancy (Terry) Ingram of Apple River WI, and Charlene (Elmer) Earlywine-Macke.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sharon; and two sisters, Dorothy and Barbara in childhood.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
