Kathleen A. Naretty, 81, of Marseilles, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at her home.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marseilles with Fr. Sixmund Henry officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Arrangements have been entrusted to Seals-Campbell Funeral Home.

She was born on April 14, 1941, in Ottawa, to John and Callie (Allen) Lucey. On August 1, 1964, she married Richard Naretty who preceded her in death in 2020. They had 56 enjoyable years of marriage living in Marseilles.

Kathleen was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was a teacher at the Marseilles School District for 28 years until her retirement. She was an avid tennis and pickle ball player. Kathleen and Richard enjoyed traveling, they shared many trips to Canada fishing and Gulf Shores in the winters. She was an active member of the community and was loved by many.

She is survived by her relatives, many friends, and her dog, Molly.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Murry, Bill Hennessey, Larry and Jonathan Walker, and Bob Jones Jr.
