Kathleen "Kat" Mezger, 67, of Marseilles, formerly of Oswego, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 at home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Ron Wackerlin officiating. Due to current State of Illinois guidelines, face coverings will be required.

She was born on October 31, 1954, in Chicago, to George and Adeline (Selenis) Gallaher. In 1972, she married Randall T. Mezger of Oswego, who preceded her in death in 2009.

Kat is survived by her children, Nicole (Corey) Simons of Chicago, Crystal (Jacob) Rutherford of Yorkville, and Randall (Sheryl) Mezger of Yorkville; her seven grandchildren, Randy, Roary, Hayden, Chandler, Reagan, Reece, and Henry; her siblings, Patricia Gallaher of North Fort Myers, FL, George (Jan Norton) Gallaher of Lisle, and Jean (Keith) Wagner of Downers Grove; family friend, Marylin Meade; her companion, Rick Pellegrini; and her cat, Angel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Randall.
