Kathleen Anderson, 54, of Ottawa, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at her home.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18 at 816 E. Michigan St. in Ottawa. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Katy was born December 7, 1970, in Ottawa, to Christine McGrath. In 2001, she married Shane Simpson of Bloomington who survives.

Survivors include her husband, Shane; her two daughters, Miranda and Patricia Anderson, both of Ottawa; nine grandchildren; and one sister, Melanie McGrath of LaSalle.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine.
