June Marie Caputo, 96, of Marseilles, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2026, at LaSalle County Nursing Home.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Services and cremation rites were entrusted to Seals-Campbell Funeral Home.

She was born on March 27, 1930, in Marseilles to Jacob and Irma (Dinelli) Halterman.

June was employed by Nabisco, Danelson's Catering, and Snap-On Tools until her retirement.

She is survived by her children, Deb (Fred) Kilgore, Timothy (Kathy) Caputo, and Rudy (Michele) Caputo; eight grandchildren, Sara, Abra, Ben, Jake, Josh, Kylie, Staci, and Kipp; thirteen great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Sheila Blue.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; one brother, Joe Halterman; and a nephew, Joey Halterman.

Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the LaSalle County Nursing Home.
