Joyce Lynn Panti, 75, of Marseilles, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.  Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Joyce was born on February 13, 1950, in Ottawa, to Ernest R. and Doris E. (Spicer) Eiben. In 1969, she married Philip Eugene Panti of Marseilles, who preceded her in death in 2015.

She was employed by Nabisco, Field Container, and Federal Paper until her retirement. She also worked at Woodsmoke Ranch for many years.

Joyce loved her cars, road trips and bingo.

She is survived by her children, Annie (Mike) Norsen, Allan (Kim) Panti; her sister, Joanne Leab (Joe Swearengin); her companion, Bob Smith; her step-children, Thomas Panti, and Lawrence (Sue) Panti; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gene; one brother, Donald W. Eiben; one nephew, Richard Allan Trager; two great-granddaughters, Lily and Aleyiah; and her step-daughter, Christina Reynolds.
