Joshua Allen Mundy, 35, of Marseilles, passed away unexpectedly April 1, 2020.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Joshua was born May 27, 1984, in Jerseyville, IL, to Kenneth G. and Angela Dawn (Schafer) Mundy.

He was employed as a CNC machinist at PGI Manufacturing in Peru, IL. He found a new hobby as a cook at an Indian restaurant downtown Chicago. Joshua spent every minute he could with his son, Levi, going on tricycle rides and walks, throwing rocks in the river, and playing in the park. Joshua always made sure to have a surprise or a candy every time he saw Levi. Joshua enjoyed mushroom hunting, music of many genres, learning about the universe, and he loved to color, draw, and journal. Joshua was very loyal, compassionate, smart, artistic person who loved exploring Chicago.

Joshua is survived by his son, Levi Allen Mundy; the love of his life, Kelsey Ann of Chicago; his father, Kenneth G. Mundy; two brothers, Robert Sidney Mundy and Kenneth Gene Mundy; and one cousin, Steven Paul Mundy.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Angela and his grandmother, Shirley Jean Mundy.
