Joseph T. Baudino, Jr., 89, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at LaSalle County Nursing Home.

Joe was born on December 15, 1928, in Ottawa, to Joseph T. Sr. and Nellie (Carter) Baudino. In 1951, he married Patricia Eurich of Streator who survives.

He served in the Navy during the end of WWII and was a lifetime member of the Marseilles VFW Post #5506. He was employed by Huss Oldsmobile, Marseilles Plumbing and Heating, DuPont and Reichhold Chemical until his retirement. Joe and Pat owned and operated the Marseilles Car "Warsh" on E. Bluff St. for many years. Joe's garage was always open to fix anything and everything that people brought by and if Joe couldn't fix it, "it was broke."

Joe is survived by his wife, Pat; two daughters, Jodeen (Terry) Davis of Louisiana and Nicole (Robert) Shanley of Earlville; two sons, Gary (Terri) Baudino of Missouri and Tim (Julie) Baudino of Marseilles; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Long and Marianne Carroll; and two brothers, David and Jon Baudino.

Memorials may be directed to the Marseilles Nursing Service or the LaSalle County Nursing Home.

A memorial visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2025, on their 74th wedding anniversary, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. A celebration of life for Pat and Joe will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Military honors for Joe will be accorded following services at the funeral home by the Marseilles Honor Guard. Burial was in Nichol Cemetery in Marseilles.
