Jonathon L. Baudino, 83, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Reverend Anthony Ego officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home.

Jon was born April 18, 1934 in Ottawa, to Joseph and Nellie (Carter) Baudino. In 1953, he married Suanne Brown of Marseilles who preceded him in death in 2013.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marseilles. He was employed at Libbey Owens Ford until his retirement. Jon was a jack-of-all-trades and always willing to lend a hand. He was a vender at the Sandwich Fair for 62 years, selling his handmade wooden toys from his red novelties trailer. He will be missed by his family, friends, neighbors, and early-morning coffee buddies.

Jon is survived by one daughter, Vicki (Ron) Baudino-Shaffer of Portland, Oregon; one son, Ron (Julie) Baudino of Marseilles; eleven grandchildren, Zachary and Isabelle Shaffer, Jonathan Napier, Melissa O'Connell, Ron and Michael Baudino, Josh Brewster, Kasey and Rikki Baudino, Tilmon Yearwood and Michael Kohlman; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph (Pat) Baudino of Marseilles; and one sister-in-law, Katherine Baudino of Ottawa.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Suanne; one daughter, Lorraine Napier; two sons, Rick and Scott Baudino; two sisters, Betty Long and Marianne Carroll; and one brother, David Baudino.

Memorials may be given to the Marseilles Nursing Service.

His grandchildren will be pallbearers.
