John "Jack" Michael Daw, 74, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at his home.

A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marseilles with Fr. Sixmund Henry officiating. Burial was in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood with military honors. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.

He was born on June 25, 1949, in Chicago, to John W. and Ruth (Pollack) Daw. In 1972, he married Barbara Inverso of New York, who survives.

Jack was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Seneca. He served honorably in the U.S. Airforce. He was a member of Local 597 Pipefitters until his retirement. Jack enjoyed reading and working outside on his yard and property.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his two children, Brian Daw and Amy Stacy, both of Marseilles; one grandson, Nicholas; and his siblings, Kathy (Richard) Vesper, Michael (Patricia) Daw, Ruth Ann (Jesus) Rodriguez, and David Daw; and six nieces and one nephew.

He was proceeded in death by parents and his niece, Melissa Juergensen.
