John E. Czupryn, 76, of Marseilles, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Seals-Campbell Funeral Home.

He was born May 8, 1945, in Chicago, to John and Anna (Waszak) Czupryn.

John served in the U.S. Navy as an airman and was a member of the Marseilles American Legion Post #235 and the Marseilles VFW Post # 5506. He was employed by IEBW Local 134 for 50 years until his retirement.

He is survived by significant other, Gail Plique; his children, Aaron (Amanda) Czupryn and Seja (Jason) Howdeshell; two grandsons and four granddaughters; two sisters, Rose Ellen Hunter and Phyllis Miraski; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and three brothers.
