JoAnn Harken, 81, of St. James City, FL, passed away on November 9, 2022, in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov 17, 2022 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles, IL. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Nichol Cemetery in Marseilles, IL.

She was born on September 26, 1941, in Ottawa, IL, to Bruce and Dorothy (Sherman) Cumming.

JoAnn loved her family. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she was called "Jo" to most. Her passions in life were her children, her dogs, Gracie and Bobo, shopping, and dancing.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Harken; her children, Bobby (Arlene) Cobler of Morton IL, Jim (Larry Asal) Cobler of Gulfport, MS, Christy (David) Yoesle of Wildwood, FL, and Holly Harken of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her step-children, Matt Harken and Christine Oakley; her grandchildren, Shannon Forlong, Mandy Kaylor, Tiffany Cobler, Tyler Cobler, Alexandria June Cobler, Crystal Cobler, and Star Harken; a step-granddaughter, Elise Oakley; her great-grandchildren, Ava and Maddie Kaylor, Owen and Elise Forlong; a brother, Bruce Cumming; and many nieces and nephews.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Donna Cumming Sutter; and her brother-in-law, Bob Harken.
