Obituary

Joan Page Silver, 93, of Naperville, IL, formerly of Marseilles, IL, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at her home in the presence of her family.

Joan was born on February 14, 1931, to Clifford Page and Love Long Page in Turtle Creek, PA. In December of 1952, she married J. Lindo Silver on the campus of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers, Raymond Page and Robert "Bobby" Page. She is survived by her seven children, Reid (Dawn), Renee Silver-McGraw (Terry), Kit (fiancée, Mary Logan), Kirk (Michelle), Dean (Kristal), Scott (Chereena), and Michelle (Sugar); her brother, Donald Page, and former daughter-in-law, Bridie (Brigid) Silver; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joan enjoyed playing Bridge with the Marseilles Junior Matrons where she had many close friends. She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a fabulous cook, homemaker, and pianist.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Lung Association.

Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marseilles. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.
