Jené Stone-Zink, 40 of Ottawa, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 4, 2021.

Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 10 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Pastor John Patterson of the Parkview Baptist Church officiating.  Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Galloway Cemetery at a later date.

Jené was born November 8, 1980, in Ottawa, to Ralph and Cheryl (Nelson) Stone.

Jené worked in food service for many years.  She was a strong hardworking woman with a beautiful soul and had a love for life.  She was a dedicated mother and daughter, who could always put a smile on anyone's face and would be there to help if she could. She loved her family, friends, and pets, and she was passionate about gardening and her relationship with the Lord.

She leaves behind her son, Caleb Stone of Ottawa; her mother, Cheryl of Ottawa; her father, Ralph of GA; two sisters, Heather Tomlin of NC, Meagan Robinson of Ottawa; one brother, Samuel of GA; nieces and nephews; her great-aunt, Lucille Nelson of Ottawa; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Gogo and Pawpaw, Janice and James Nelson and her paternal grandparents, Honora and Lewis Stone.
