Jeanne C. Chismarick, 75, of Ottawa, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Lightways Hospice in Joliet.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.  Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements and cremation rites.

Jeanne was born on June 18, 1950, in Ottawa to Carl and Jane (Applebee) Wise. On April 15, 1994, she married Ron Chismarick of Streator who survives.

Jeanne was employed as a waitress for many years, she was an animal lover, enjoyed crafting and loved her plants and flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Ron; one grandson, Xavier Harden; her uncle, Nate Applebee; her sister-in-law, Gloria (Bob) Watson; many nieces and nephews including her niece, Kimberly (John) Walls; her step-son, Terry (Stephanie Norris) Chismarick; her step-daughter, Amy (Ralph Haines) Hunter; and four step-grandchildren, Tyler and Nolan Chismarick, and Jack and Laney Hunter

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Chad Harden; her sister, Judith Brown; her twin sister, Janet Steele; a brother-in-law, Ernest Brown; and one sister-in-law, Mary Ann (Frank Jurcak) Chismarick.
